Cray Ships the First Multi-Cabinet Cray XE6 Supercomputer
Global supercomputer leader Cray Inc. (NASDAQ: CRAY) today announced it has shipped the first multi-cabinet Cray XE6 supercomputer. This is the beginning of the anticipated shipment of several significant systems to a number of customers over the next few months.

"There is still a lot of work to be done, but shipping the first large Cray XE6 system is a special accomplishment. Also, I would like to extend a special thanks to our beta-testing partner, the Swiss National Supercomputer Center (CSCS), for their help in getting the Cray XE6 supercomputer ready to meet this major milestone."

Sweden's Royal Institute of Technology Orders a Cray XT6m Supercomputer
SEATTLE, WA and HAMBURG, GERMANY, Jun 01, 2010 -- At the 2010 International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) in Hamburg, Germany, global supercomputer leader Cray Inc. (NASDAQ: CRAY) today announced that Sweden's Royal Institute of Technology (KTH: Kungliga Tekniska Hoegskolan) is the latest organization to order a Cray XT6m supercomputing system. KTH's PDC Center for High Performance Computing is acquiring a 93-teraflops Cray XT6m supercomputer as part of a national plan by the Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing (SNIC) to provide Sweden's scientists with access to world-class high performance computing resources.

Cray Launches the Cray XE6 Supercomputer - The Next Generation of Its High-End Supercomputers
SEATTLE, WA and EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, May 25, 2010 -- At the annual gathering of Cray users from across the world, global supercomputer leader Cray Inc. (NASDAQ: CRAY) today officially launched the company's next generation of its high-end supercomputing systems -- the Cray XE6 supercomputer. Attendees at the 2010 Cray User Group (CUG) meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland witnessed the formal introduction of Cray's highly anticipated new supercomputer, which combines the company's new Gemini interconnect with powerful AMD Opteron(TM) processors to bring production petascale computing to a new and expanded base of high performance computing (HPC) users.
