Cray GreenBlade™ System
The Cray GreenBlade system is an energy-efficient, modular and affordable building block platform for the Cray CS300-LC™ cluster supercomputer. The system features an innovative liquid-cooled blade design that directly cools the compute processor and memory to more efficiently remove heat. This design results in superior energy efficiency over air-cooled systems by using warm water heat exchangers instead of chillers reducing data center energy costs.
With flexible configuration options featuring the latest Intel® Xeon® processors and support for Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors or NVIDIA® Tesla™ GPU computing accelerators, the Cray GreenBlade system achieves outstanding total cost of ownership and allows companies to grow at their own pace.
