Title Software Engineer - Team Lead

Cray has an opening for motivated and skilled Software Engineers – Team Leads to join its Advanced Technology Team.  Responsibilities include design and development of infrastructure software components targeting Cray’s future Supercomputer platforms. 
The ideal candidates will have strong technical and interpersonal skills with a passion for computer technology, working with, and leading a team of software developers and system architects based in Bristol, UK providing advanced capabilities for future system architectures. 
These individuals will work with members of Cray’s Advanced Technology Team in helping to define aspects of Cray’s next generation, extremely scalable, high performance computing systems for both High Performance Computing, Data Analytics and Machine Learning products.

•	Minimum of 5 years+ industry experience in similar role.
•	BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 
•	Linux software development expertise, with proven ability to produce high quality deliverables
•	Proficient programming in C/C++ is essential
•	Knowledge of operating system architecture, networking and files systems is highly desirable
•	Network Dev Ops development experience is desirable 
•	Commitment to sound software engineering principles and a demonstrated knowledge of the full development lifecycle. 
•	Outstanding problem solving skills
•	Ability to work well in a cooperative development environment, both within and across teams 
•	Good written and verbal communications skills
