Cray has an opening for a motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join its Systems Management Team. In this position, you will be working in a fast-paced environment contributing to the automation framework and developing optimal test strategies to ensure the release of superior products.  You will partner with seasoned engineers who continually create new products using leading-edge technology.  You will be empowered to increase our test depth and breadth along with establishing continuous delivery best practices. Key qualifications include:
·	BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
·	Practical experience with Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting. 
·	Proven experience developing robust test scripts and automating complex test scenarios.
·	Demonstrated experience working in various frameworks and tools with experience using a continuous integration system such as Jenkins or BuildBot for test automation.
·	Ability to research new and emerging technologies and automation tools/frameworks.
·	Advanced skills in testing RESTful API services highly desired.
·	Experience with various aspects of Linux such as the kernel, utilities, installation and package management are highly desired. 
·	Very strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven experience troubleshooting issues that span multiple software and hardware components.
·	Experience using configuration management software like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible is highly desired.
·	Knowledge of operating system architecture, networking and/or file systems is a plus.
·	Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in Agile environment is a plus.
·	Ability to work well in a cooperative development team with a commitment to sound software engineering principles.
·	Good written and verbal communications skills.
